Activites include guided walks on the unique Burren landscape, visiting the various heritage sites, visit to an organic vegetable farm, nutrition talks, exercise classes with a personal trainer, learn relaxation techniques, meditation, learn to do ayurvedic face massage for yourself and much more.
There will be free time every afternoon and evenings after 6pm meal. This allows rest and also relaxed chatting.

Food will be light organic and wholesome. A semi-fasting state will enable the body to cleanse, get rid of cravings and reset your appetite for healthy food. Herbal teas will be served throughout the day and drinking plenty of good clean water is advised. It is suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Dairy and gluten free.

Accommodation will be in the heart of the Burren at Clare’s Rock. A mixture of single and twin rooms, all ensuite.  
Check in will be the afternoon of the 8th Sept and check out the morning of the 13th.

Your host will be Eileen Hannon Nutritional Therapist and Reiki Master. Eileen has facilitated many workshops and groups over the last 20 years, the most recent being a 5 day retreat in Kerry in October 2017 and a shorter retreat in Bellharbour Co. Clare in January 2018. Also doing the retreat will be Beth you knows the Burren intimately and will share this knowledge with you. We will also have personal trainer who will help you with simple exercises to keep us moving.
Eileen is available before and after the retreat for one to one Nutritional Therapy and/or Reiki consultations. Time permitting  there may be some Reiki sessions available during retreat days.

Cost per person:
Early Bird prices until 31st July:
€600 for a single room and €500 sharing
After 31st July:
€680 for a single room and €580 sharing
Please note there are 10 bedrooms in total so places are limited.

Cost includes accommodation, meals, bottled water, all activities and notes/recepies/menu planning.
It does not include transport to Clare’s Rock. When visiting sites in the Burren car pooling is expected in order for group to get around.

Our last retreat was in Kerry in October 2017 and everyone came away with a renewed sense of peace, a few pounds lighter and with a healthy eating plan going forward.

This is to confirm that I completed the Kerry detox break last October 2017 with Eileen.  I am delighted to say that I  absolutely recommend it. Eileen was extremely helpful and excellent at explaining the healthy eating diet and took into consideration the different levels of fitness and health each person was at,  so, we were able to proceed at our own pace that suited us as an individual.  Our accommodation was very clean and relaxing and near the beach.  We went for lovely refreshing walks on the seashore,  did meditations and learned how to do facial massage for ourselves.  We were also given cooking demonstrations which enabled us to continue to do so,  once we were back home.  The benefits for me were extremely positive.  It gave me the kick start I needed to get back into a healthy routine.  I lost a few pounds in weight,  my bloated stomach was reduced by 5 inches but most of all my energy increased and the stiffness in my joints was greatly reduced.      A big THANK YOU to Eileen for her patience kindness  help and understanding,                                         Yours sincerely,M.
