Activites include walks on the beautiful beach at Ballyvaloo, the centre is actually on the sea front, nutrition talks including Keto meal planning and cooking. Learn relaxation techniques and meditation. Practice ayurvedic face massage which you do on yourself and much more.
The day will start at 9am with breakfast. There will be optional meditation before hand at 8.30am. Approx. 2 hrs. free time every afternoon and the day finishes around 7.00pm after evening meal. This allows for rest and also relaxed chatting.

Food will be wholesome and nutritious with vegetarian options. As the body cleanses itself you will get rid of toxins, lose the cravings and reset your appetite for healthy food. Herbal teas will be served throughout the day and drinking plenty of good clean water is advised. Dairy and gluten free.

Accommodation will be in Ballyvaloo Conference Centre, on the east coast of Co. Wexford. All rooms are single and en-suite. Magnificently situated overlooking the Irish Sea, Ballyvaloo Centre is the ideal place to take time out from the stresses and pressures of modern living. The long beach frontage, rolling terrain, mature trees and farmland surroundings help to create a tranquil ambience.

Week-end will start at 4pm Friday 1st May and will finish at 2pm Monday 4th May.

Your host will be Eileen Hannon Nutritional Therapist and Reiki Master. Eileen has facilitated many workshops and groups over the last 20 years, the most recent being a 5 day Healthy Eating break in Kerry in October 2017, another in The Burren Co. Clare in September 2018 and a Keto weekend in  Kerry in October 2019.
Eileen is available during the retreat for a limited number of one to one Nutritional Therapy consultations and/or Reiki treatments. These have to be booked before the retreat.

Cost will be €430 per person. Early Bird price of €380 if booked before Friday 28th February.                     Deposit of €100 secures your place.                                                    10% discount for previous clients and for members of NTOI.                                         Please note places are limited to 12 people to ensure personal attention and guidance for all.

Cost includes accommodation, meals, bottled water, all activities and notes/recepies/menu planning.
It does not include transport to Ballyvaloo, Co. Wexford.

This is to confirm that I completed the Kerry detox break last October 2017 with Eileen.  I am delighted to say that I  absolutely recommend it. Eileen was extremely helpful and excellent at explaining the healthy eating diet and took into consideration the different levels of fitness and health each person was at,  so, we were able to proceed at our own pace that suited us as an individual.  Our accommodation was very clean and relaxing and near the beach.  We went for lovely refreshing walks on the seashore,  did meditations and learned how to do facial massage for ourselves.  We were also given cooking demonstrations which enabled us to continue to do so,  once we were back home.  The benefits for me were extremely positive.  It gave me the kick start I needed to get back into a healthy routine.  I lost a few pounds in weight,  my bloated stomach was reduced by 5 inches but most of all my energy increased and the stiffness in my joints was greatly reduced.      A big THANK YOU to Eileen for her patience kindness  help and understanding,                                         Yours sincerely,M.
